Depletion of the Ogallala aquifer, higher prices for corn , chicken, beef even soda and heavy water use in drought stricken west. Yessir lets save the planet by subsidizing ethanol and giving tax breaks to producers of the the stuff. Stampeded by outrageous claims of environmentalist alarmists we have traded one mess for another with no remedy for our hasty jump into the panacea of ethanol..
