Vote,Why? Neither of the two candidates for president or congress want to face reality. Our economy is headed for disaster unless we increase our domestic production of oil, and build some refineries. It is all very well to say conservation and alternative energy sources will, in thirty years ,make us energy independent.What about the interim. We are exporting two billion dollars a day to countries that are essentially our enemies. In the long run we can achieve energy independence without oil but in the long run we might not have a nation to enjoy it.
